Friday was hectic.
I had a casting call at 1pm with a clothing designer, he wanted me to model his clothes. Walking in, they asked me for my comp card and immediately asked me what agency I was modeling for...But I told them I wasn't signed....yet. It made me happy thought, for them to immediately assume I was signed....That's great for me :)
I was the tallest girl in the room. I found that odd, but maybe he just started his designer career.
I modeled, and then left. They will call me if they picked me. I think they loved my
look, but I think I need to run some more and loose more
weight. 117lbs is good, but 115lbs is better because runway
models are different then print or editorial models. Runway models have
to be a certain weight so any clothes fit. No matter how small. So most
girls are 100-115lbs. Yeah...that's tiny. The smallest I've gotten to
is 113lbs, so that's my goal
again.
Next, was the magazine shoot with Sahar Vahidi.
She runs a magazine called "Shut Up". At 14 years old this extraordinary woman started her magazine online, working her way up, her magazine is now published and at 22 years old Sahar is an inspiration to everyone.
"Shut Up" is a fashion, music, and media news magazine based out of Los Angeles. Sahar is now in New York, and is working for a newspaper company while on the side, promoting and refining her magazine.
It was great meeting her. She's so cool, and trendy. Very laid back, with a friendly demeanor this chick is rad. Her ambitious spirit matched my will to succeed. It was a lot of fun working with her and her photographer.
I'm going to be in the fashion section modeling a vintage/flower dress and jeans.
I can't wait till it comes out! That's a tear sheet right there! :)
Then I had a music video to do...but the spare tire I had blew out, and we had to wait a couple of hours for my friend Geof to come to the rescue. If it wasn't for him I would have spent the night sleeping in the car with my friend Vitto. Not cool, its freaking cold in Los Angeles at night.
Other than that...it was a beautiful day, and maybe one day closer to achieving my dream of being signed by an agency.

I wish u good luck! :-) I know it is not easy in the profession, but u know, if u... read more
